A Focus on Article 27 UK GDPR Representation
Are you an overseas company offering goods or services to people in the UK or monitoring their behaviour? UK GDPR may apply even when your company has no UK office. Article 27 can require a UK-established representative, subject to statutory conditions and exemptions.
What we can help coordinate: eligibility assessment, written designation and representative contact arrangements, communication and escalation pathways, and related privacy documentation.
How We Work
1. Initial enquiry: Tell us your company location, UK-facing activities and the support you need.
2. Scope review: We clarify the appropriate service and identify any regulated activities requiring an authorised professional.
3. Written proposal: We define the agreed deliverables, timeline and scope before beginning work.
4. Practical implementation: We assist with documents, coordination and ongoing compliance tasks covered by the engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a non-UK company be subject to UK GDPR?
Yes. Depending on the relevant processing and its connection to offering goods or services to people in the UK or monitoring their behaviour there, Article 3(2) may apply.
Does every overseas company need a UK GDPR representative?
No. Article 27 depends on the territorial scope and statutory exceptions. A documented assessment is recommended.
Can you assist with company registration and UK trade marks?
We can support preparation and coordination, subject to the applicable requirements. Where professional authorisation, identity verification or specialist representation is mandatory, the work must be undertaken through eligible authorised providers.
Do you represent clients in UK courts?
We do not market or undertake reserved litigation or advocacy in England and Wales without the necessary authorisation. Where needed, we can help coordinate a referral to appropriately authorised professionals.
